The most popular Loyola study abroad destination is the Rome Center, our residential campus in Rome, Italy. Situated atop a hill in the Monte Mario neighborhood, the campus blends the bustling energy of downtown Rome with a quaint, residential calm.

Our professors take full advantage of their surroundings to turn the city into a living classroom. Most courses have an on-site component, which means you’ll venture off campus with your professor to visit the Vatican, explore the Colosseum, and marvel at ancient Roman ruins.
